Income/Expense Report Creation

You can either use the Financial Statement Wizard or open up the exisiting I/S and select Design to modify it. Right click on the column headers and start with current month and then add months -1, -2, etc in reverse order until you get the right set of months. Don't forget to save the report under a new name.

Thanks for your immediate reply. I have passed on your message to by Financial Manager and hopefully she can discern on how to perform this function. I let you know her progress in successfully accomplishing this task based on your suggestion. With your permission, I may write to you again asking for more help.

I have created a 12-month report but I don't know of any way of extracting it to send you. Maybe someone will come along and tell me how to do that.

Luara, put the customized financial statement into a "Test" company and make a backup. Send Michelle the backup and she should create a new "test" company and restore the backup. She can then copy the financial statement from Test Company to Real Company

Thanks Diane. I did exactly that and am waiting to hear back from Michelle. I posted my e-mail address over on the user forum message board.

I am assuming that we both must be using the same version of PT for this to work. She never posted what version she is using.
