Operating System Error

until today. Now when I try to open the program, I get a dialog box that says: "An operating system error has occurred. Peachtree has to shut down to correct this error. You can then open Peachtree again and continue." I hit OK, the box disappears, and then the same thing happens when I try to reopen the program. Rebooting did not help.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

You may need to re-install PT. It sounds like one or more files are corrupted. Re-installing shouldn't mess up your database if you select the clean-up-my-files option on the installation window.
