I have a business where we drop ship a lot of items (40% of our orders). Is there a way for a PO to be automatically generated after a sale if there is no stock on hand? All items we sell are already set up in our system. Thanks

This is not possible in RMS and I don't believe there is an addon to do this either. What you can do though is run a PO based on Reorder information. The system will then automatically create a PO for each supplier based on items that need to be ordered.

I believe that they made the drop-ship sale a layaway rather than sale and used a specific set of ILC for these. They then created a script to automatically create a PO whenever a layaway was created for these ILC. When the receipt was received for the dropshipment they processed the layaway pickup.
