How to enter Customer Order in QB Basic?

May 06, 2005 3 Replies

Our customers order our products... then we ship the orders... then we invoice the customer.

I can't see a way to enter a Customer Order in QB Basic... ???

Can anyone tell me how to do this in QB Basic ??

Or is it that QB basic will not allow you to enter orders into the system??? Meaning we have to track unfilled orders by hand ??? Tell me it isn't so. Please.

thanks

It isn't so.

It isn't so.

In the helpfile look under 'sales' 'pending' for information as to how and why to mark a sale as pending. Granted, this does not give full tracking capability for items not in stock, and you cannot recieve payments against pending sales. For that you would need to use Sales Orders.

The helpfile in the version I use indicates it is an option available in Premier and Enterprise versions only.

I found a link in support

formatting link
indicates it MAY be in some versions of QB Basic and Pro.
