Is there a way to get the SO to beep when Item Not Found? I was thinking of a plug in that captured the window pop-up event. But before I get to crazy, I figured I'd ask around.

This is just a windows Alert type - if you plug speakers into your POS and keep the volume up, configure your system sounds and you'll get a beep when an item is not recognised. I've done this for our POS as our staff are usually concentrating on the trolley of goods and can easily miss an item not being recognised etc...
