If you go into the journal, and click the lookup button to look up transactions falling within a date range, the customer column is one of the columns in the list, which represents the last name in the customer properties. however, there are some accounts that have a company name in the company field and no name in the first or last name field. in this case, in the lookup window, the customer shows up as blank.
it would be useful to show additional columns in this lookup window, especially the company field.
