Hi Gill,

Mercury is now Vital Net compliant so all you will need to do is use the configuration sheet they sent and make the changes on the Advanced tab in Administrator. Also, Merury has some support that is available and I have found them very helpful.

If you go to Administrator File>Configuration>EDC tab you will find the advanced button. One thing, on the V number you will need to change the V to a 7 in RMS for the configuration to make the proper translation

If you are integrating with Ingenico's or other pin pads there may be additional set up.

Good luck.

Not every RMS Reseller is a Mercury Payments Reseller. Mercury will only provide services through your RMS Reseller because they count on the resellers to provide technical support. If you are generally happy with your RMS partner, you might want to talk to them about processing options that they do support, rather then starting from scratch with someone else...

If you are not happy with your RMS Reseller, you can find a list of local partners at:

Just enter your Zip Code and click "Find a Specialist". Try calling a few and pick one that you want to build a relationship with.
