Check Approval Anyone?

Question

When I got RMS, I got rid of my merchant terminal used to process credit card transactions, but also check approvals. Does anyone know of a way to have RMS process check approvals as well as it does credit cards? I'm processing through Wells Fargo. They don't currently offer check approval to my knowledge.

Positive Technology ( has partner agreements with Abanco ( and TPI Software, all of which together provides one stop shop that handles Credit Card / Debit and ECC/ECA (Electronic Check Authorization) all fully integrated with RMS via their SmartPayments plug-in.  I've been using it for a week now and it's been working great once some of the kinks were ironed out. I used a credit card reader/MICR reader combination unit for months in conjunction with RMS and PC Charge.  I still have the equipment but do not use it anymore because you must process at least 50 checks per month in order for it to be cost effective.  "tl" wrote:
