Batching credit cards

If you are not using integrated credit cards and for now are just swiping the credit card to populate the data into RMS (the processing is done through their eclipse machine now), will there be any issues with these credit card batches when they do go to integrated credit cards? Obviously they don't want these batches to get processed accidentally.

Will making sure that the "Perform Verification for EDC" box is NOT CHECKED until they integrate the EDC with Wells Fargo? This is located under Database/Tender Type/Credit Card/Properties.

It depends on how you have RMS setup.

SO Manager | File | Configuration | Options | General | Mask credit card numbers | if checked, only the last 4 digits are readable, if unchecked, yes, the entire credit card number is readable.

If readable, remind the owner that s/he is liable if the info is stolen. Setup a security level so that only trusted employees can see/retrieve the numbers. Also to put some kind of firewall on the network to prevent anyone outside the company from accessing the data.

This will all change this month as version 1.3 will no longer store the numbers at all.
