Hello, I have a request from my Retail department to deploy Check Readers, anyone out there in "microsoft.public.pos" land know which brand and model works best with PCCharge and RMS 1.3 (Soon to be RMS 2.0)?

HI Jim the supported device as per the OPOS Configuration guide is: Signature Capture: · PenWare 100, 1100, 1500, 2000, 3000, and 3100 In the future, the OPOS service objects will support additional manufacturers and generic POS devices.

Thank You Akber, I don't think that we are on the same page, I need to know what Microsoft recommends for a MICR check reader? Jim
The magtek mini MICR works although I've run into problems whith the USB version. You need to install the driver and make sure to include OPOS support during install. At this point I'd only use the keyboard wedge or serial version.
