Just wondering what happens if your network connection goes down, but you do not loose internet access...and you opperate in offline mode, where employees still except Credit / ATM Cards? When you sink back up does everything sort out, does everything work fine because you processed the transaction anyhow??? Not exactly sure what happens in this regard, can anyone explain?

If they don't lose Internet access AND you are using the Offline database mode, everything will sync back when the server comes back on-line.
I know you didn't ask, but for future reference; If you lose Internet access, call your processor (you do have your merchant number and their phone number handy just in case, right?) and get a voice authorization, put the voice auth code into the auth code section and then swipe the credit card. When the Internet connection comes back, then you can close the batch like normal without issues.
Jeff, Thanks for that...although I have phone access as well, I only use that mainly for EBT, but it can be used for CC / ATM, and I use that when internet connection goes down, until I am able to connect to the internet again, and process as normal :) Thanks again for everything.
