credit card receipt

the merchant is using RMS 1.2 and everything works fine except for the credit card receipt that prnts at the bottom of the check out receipt and the cashier has to to give the receipt to the customer to sign for the credit card and the casier has to tear that bottom part with the sinature and keep it for the record and give the rest of the receit back to the customer which is not professional at all.How can we use the RMS to print an additional and seperate receipt, which is a shorter receipt, for the customer to sign for the use of the credit card and keep that shorter receipt?

The posting is a little confusing -

1) Do you have 1 long receipt that could be two receipts - but they are not being cut on CC trxs? 1a) If so: try an OPOS install of the receipt printer, not Windows

2) Do you literally have one receipt that prints for credit card transactions, basically the same as would print for cash but with a signature line added? So the emp has the cust sign and tears off signature only keeping about 1 inch of the receipt for records?

2a) If this is the case: Stock RMS is issued with a 2 part credit card receipt. If they are only getting one receipt that prints on CC trxs - they have likely switched to the MS one receipt for CC trxs as found on Customer Source. I would switch back to the stock MS labeled 'receipt'.

If you are using the Windows driver and it is the standard 2 page credit card receipt:

There should be a setting in the printer properties to cut at end of page, or cut at end of document. You need to manually set this 'on' when setting up.
