I have dealing with no luck with microsoft about periodically in an hq environment at a random store the transfer quantities once committed are double posted in the inventorytransferlog table for either all items or just a select few.
There will literally be two records in the inventorytransferlog for the item with lets say a quantity of 5 each whereas there only should have been one record for a quantity of 5. This in turn is updating and doubling the quantity of these items onhand quantity. I have seen this randomly at 5 stores out of 20 in this environment (That I am aware of) and I have also seen this happen on commiting physical inventories.
The stores are running 2005 sql express with sp1 (The version that comes on the disk) and I am running rms 2.0 with sp2.
I am at a lost as to why this can be happening and since I can't readily reproduce it Microsoft won't count it as a bug. I am trying to see if anybody else out there has seen this.
