Dynamics RMS POS Offline Transactions not syncing

Hi

Our server went down a while back forcing our POS PCs to work offline. This was fine but when the server came back online and they were restarted they failed to synchronise with the Store database. They still haven't and its been a while since that happened

I tried to change the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> MICROSOFT -> RETAIL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ->

STORE OPERATIONS -> POSUser -> TerminalOffline entry in the registry to true on one of the machines. When I restarted POS it apparently synchronised and the entries disappeared from the offline database, but now I am unable to find those transactions in the Store database.

Any ideas where they could have gone? Any idea how to fix the issue for the other POS machines?

Thank you in advance Hendr?

Are you actually seeing the offline database sync? It should happen every time you Z out a register and an animated icon appears on the screen while it occurs. If not - I had issues getting offline to sync for along time and for me, I had to manually open a port in the Windows Firewall to get it to work Windows Firewall: Exceptions: Add Port: Name: SQL 1433, Port#:1433, select TCP, Add Port: Name: SQL 1434, Port#: 1434, select UDP

Hi Marc

Thanks for the response.

Yes, I saw the animated icon appear and a progress bar indicating, apparently, that its busy syncing it. But when I searched in the Stores database for those amounts or sales taxes on the date the transaction originally occurred I couldn't find anything. I am assuming that it will sync it to the date the transaction originally occurred?

Thank you Hendr?
