Exporting Purchase Orders to Excel

Nov 08, 2006 4 Replies

Is there a way to export PO's to Excel? We used to be able to do it in Quicksell. When I try to export, I select application, but it only gives me HTML or XML options. Is there a good way to get larger Purchase Orders sent to my vendors in a format that would allow them to load the information into their system rather than typing in using a .pdf printout?

Hi Kris, Directly from MRMS to Excel ? NO. but you can do...export it to a File (text file or csv file) and open it to Excel. I use to do this when I want more clear format :)

Kris,

You can download a report from CustomerSource that can list the items on the PO.

Modify and memorize the report to your likings, filter on the PO number, right click the body of the report and export it to a .CSV file, then email the .CSV file to your vendor. As Greg mentioned, you can open a .CSV file in Excel.

for the Purchase Order List with Added Details Must have access to CustomerSource.

Another option is to contact Digital Retail Solutions as they have way to send PO's (DRS PO Loader) directly to some bicycle distributors/suppliers. They may be able to work on something for your supplier(s).

I do a database query from Excel. The first time you will have to set up your SQL Server data source, but on subsequent queries, it's quick and easy.
