We presently have our stores configured to FORCE LOGON EACH SALE for security reasons. However, this can be a PAIN (for obvious reasons) and I am researching alternatives - such as CASHIER ID badges with either this ID and PASSWORD in barcode or Magnetic Strip ID cards with their ID and PASSWORD encoded in the magnetic strip. Is anyone using something like this - and, if so, whom may I contact for more information?
Tara - can I get additional information from you regarding this - such as cost, who to contact, etc.

Hiya- we're based in Ireland. When we implement a new RMS system for a customer we generally establish what they need by way of cards and print them off ourselves in advance. We print generally small runs and simple, functional designs- usually just black text on white card. This is fine for employee cards. When we need fancy colour gift cards for people, we design them then outsource them to another guy who has a more professional setup. The small card printing machine we have encodes also, and is capable of re-encoding if necessary.
