Has anyone ever made a Crystal report that calculates GMROI for each
dept/category? I am relatively new at making Crystal reports and I am having
difficulty making the report calculations.

Well, I've gotten somewhat closer calculating GMROI. What I do not know is
how, or if, I can calculate the average inventory quantity and cost over a
given period of time in Crystal. The only values I have been successful in
obtaining, or using in a formula, is basically the last cost/last quantity. I
would like to be able to use an average and be able to query this for a
specific range of date values if possible. I can query (Select Expert) and
get the GM$ no problem - it's getting an accurate avg inventory cost that is
giving me problems. Any suggestions would be helpful.
