Historical Inventory Reporting

I want to be able to report my inventory levels and cost at any point in time. Does anyone have any ideas?

The only way I have been able to get this is to remember to run a report monthly and archive them. There has to be an easier way.

Thanks!!

Craig, Was there supposed to be an attachment or a link? I did not find anything...

Thanks for your quick response.

Bob, You need to be using a newsreader like Outllok Express to view and download attachments. Find a post by Jeff @ Checkpoint Software and follow the instructions in his tagline on how to set it up. You will get a lot more out of this newsgroup if you don't use the web interface and instead use a newsreader. Craig

Either run the last "select" statement alone, or use the attached RMS report, i had to make it in RMS report coz i felt that people r not happy using the query i prepared

begin 666 Custom - Item Quantity History.qrp M+R\M+2T@4F5P;W)T(%-U;6UA

Can anyone post that query/report again to be available next 90 days for Outlook readers! Or even post it in plain text to be available for copying from web reader. Thanks, Koit

there the attachments, e.g. Ahmed's post at 03. apr 2008 (with the report discussed here) - I can only see Amy's question. Maybe something wrong with configuration?

About the report - I used Ahmed's information and one Jocelyn query and existing reports and compiled my own report (e.g. added the cost value that my client was interested of). I attach the report, maybe someone finds it useful.
