You need to set up the items in RMS with a special ItemLookupCode format - I think it's "2XXXXX-000000", where XXXXX is the unique item number. You also need to set the item type to "Weighted". Then you need to program your scale the the "XXXXX" part as the "SKU" or "PLU" and the price of the item. The Scale prints out a price embedded UPC code (again, this is configured on the scale) in the format "2xxxxx-$$$$$c" - 2 is a constant, xxxxx is the PLU, $$$$$ is the calculated price, c is a calculated Check digit. RMS will decode the barcode, calculate the weight from the embedded price and enter the weight in the quantity field. You don't need to do anything to the scanner other then enable the UPC format and possibly the price embedded UPC Format, but I think just UPC handles that...
