How do I set up VPN?

I have my HQ on my laptop that I want to connect from home to my stores. I am using Netgear fvs114 as the store VPN gateway and its Prosafe Client installed on my laptop. VPN connection is successful but after that I do not know how I can access the server at the store.

You obviously need some assistance with network setup. Access to your server is dependent on several factors once you have established the VPN connection. Have you contacted your MS parter for help with this? How about your network administrator? Either of there people should be able to have you properly setup with the required access without much trouble

If you have a vpn client set up, you should be able to connect directly to the machine via ip or name. To check this, try putting (in your SO or HQ admin) the servername/dataase/id/password and test the connection, it should work. Another test is to ping the machine (start/run/cmd, enter ping nameofmachine) & see if you get a response. Also you can share a folder and search for it like\\machine\foldername in my network places.
