You can either edit the xml file and change the words sales receipt into the words invoice or you can download the xml from the customer source downloads page

Why would you want to do this? Receipt (of a customer payment) and Invoice are two different documents and they have different implications to G/L - one being credit and the other debit. It may not even be a good idea for invoice and receipt to have the same number. In a layaway situation, you may have multiple payments on different dates applying to one invoice. How would you handle this?
