I need to set up special pricing for product. For example i sell bananas by 5$, but when they get not look good then I want to sell it by 1$. How to create the pricing mechanism for this situation. It?s not a special sales price because in the same time I can sell good bananas for a regular price. Ho to resolve that pricing situation in RMS?
In the item properties new item select the pricing tab here you have price level a, b, c these can be used for additional sell prices. Then just select the price level you wish to use to sell the bananas.
try to setup level pricing
default price 5 $ (for good banana) price A 4$ price B 3$ price C 1$
Once you done this setup...when you try to ringing up the bananas and you'll price them according to type...
enter the itemlookupcode/ barcode press shift+f3
select -->set price level for transaction then select the price level of the banana you them them to be sold @..

There are various way I can think of:
- You can set the price of a particular line on a price level when you are on a particular line (as previously suggested)
- You can do by creating a KIT item of 1. So create if banana is code
123456789012 add an S123456789012 as KIT Banana Special 1. This way all you need to do is add an S manually and then scan the actual item you want. This will ring that item on a discount band without you having to relablel all products.- Ring the banana at Full Price and then change the price with a special reason code
