HQ Client takes up to an hour to process worksheet

Lately when I create a new worksheet in HQ Manager, HQ Client will take about an hour to aknowledge and process it. Before when I would connect manually it would show up instantly. I played with the scheduler and this has no effect.

Check the time at the server and the remote store. Did you update one or both for the time zone changes this year? Are they in different time zones? I'd bet that the Server is about an hour ahead...

I have a similar issue in that when I send a worksheet 250 that has any size to it, it times out. Yet a smaller size goes without issues. Any thoughts?

Often I just do a 250 on my entire inventory to ensure that I did not forget to send changes to the stores. I had this timeout issue when one item was not found in the store database. I narrowed it down by department, and then eventually found the offending item. This might be your problem...

I read the original question to be saying that the worksheet did not BEGIN processing for an hour after it was created & approved even when a manual connection was initiated from the store. That may have been incorrect, but that's how I read it.

Your question is regarding a LONG RUNNING worksheet taking a long time to process after it begins in HQ Client. There are quite a few things that can influence this: connection speed, other processes running at HQ or Store, sheer volume of information being passed, lack of resources (like RAM), etc...

Limiting the size of the worksheet (splitting the items up by department for example) will help. Scheduling the worksheet to run after hours might help. If HQ Client is running on the same system as the Store Database, try moving it to another computer.
