HQ Client unable to connect to HQ Server

Dear all,

I have accidentally upgraded database from version 1.02 to 1.2, now HQ client at retail stores run Version 1.02 not able to connect to HQ server to upload and download data, kindly advise how I could rectify this problem.

To double check your question, in SO Administrator | Database | you did an Upgrade to 1.2, right?

Then the only thing, I'm pretty sure, you can do is to upgrade the stores too. This link seems to confirm it;

Yes, I did an upgrade of HQ database to 1.2. How could I upgrade stores? Install store operation V1.2 and upgrade database? Do I need to export and import the database when upgrading the program? Please advise.

Jeff,

I installed Store operation 1.2 and HQ client 1.2, upgrade database to 1.2, able to connect to database by SO Admin and HQ client, but SO Manager and SO give me error message "could not connect to database", please advise how to rectify.

It was caused by changing of database password after installing the store operation, i manage to change the password in the registry and now it works. Thank you a lot. Jeff.
