HQ Client Connection

Dear Users, I operate one HQ location where we have a Comunocation server for my 14 store locations, and the stores Dial in to my HQ via RAS to communicate, I was wondering is there a way to connect the Headquarter (from my office ) to the shops, so that i can get the data without having to ask the shops to connect.

If you have setup a connection schedule, as long as HQ Server and HQ Client is running they should get connected by themselves. Why dont u try that? :)

pinball,

I think he's trying to contact the stores, not the stores to HQ. Right Abdul?

The only way to connect _to_ them is to have a permanent connection, a timed connection or a dial back connection

yes jeff you are right!! i am trying to connect to the stores but my company can afford RAS (Dial - Up) connection only, so i dont think microsoft would provide a solution in which the HQ would be able to connect to the Stores in order to provide the store with updated data, for example if i were to make a STV (store Transfer from HQ to a store, i would make the STV in the HQ and then call the store to dial the connection to get the STV in the Store POS. my point is i dont want the Stores to dial in to the HQ instead the HQ could dial to the POS.
