HQ Error

Oct 20, 2008 5 Replies

After installing sp2 my clients will not not connect to hq and give an error that says "The current HQ Database version is 2.00. This version of Headquarters Client can only work with database version 2.01. Cannot Continue" Both are running sp2, any Ideas?

It looks like you did not do the "Database", "Upgrade" from within Administrator on the HQ system after running SP2

After you do the DB upgrade @ Administrator, from 2.0 to 2.01, the passwords will be case sensitive. (for PCI complience)

MS RMS, way to go...

Hello,

I have upgraded both HQ & SO databases and I am getting the same error message. I upgraded the databases after installing service pack two. Is that the issue?? Any suggestions would be appriciated

I have a funky related issue. I upgraded the HQ server and each client locations terminals and back offices. 1 PC (of course the most important) is running the client for the corporate store and as well as HQ Manager/SO Manager. When I try to install Retail2.0-KB949666 so that HQ Man and SO Man can access the data I get an error that Update can't be applied.

The only upgrade installed is SP1. Just realized that as the client is on this PC for corp the data from the store is not polling to HQ either. Even though data is 2.01 Client still expects 2.0
