Does anyone knows if there is a way to use manager cards to approve returns or any function you don't want the cashier to do. If not, is there a way to login with user name and password by swiping a card so no one can see the password that is being typed?

An easy thing to implement would be a barcode password if you have a scanner. Simply place the cursor in the password box and scan a barcode that matches the password. The built in Store Ops label maker would allow you to create/print a random series of numbers and letters and suppress the human readable echo of the barcode.
Easy to change where the CC swipe which would work the same way from keyboard emulation would only be easy to change if you owned an expensive mag stripe encoder machine.

Sacha, We have a add-in called RITE Biometrics that uses fingerprint recognition rather a card, but it does take care of login users in and out quickly. Don't know how much that helps, but thought I'd offer.
