Performing Z Report Delete Entire Database!

Hi, I'm new to RMS and have been using it for only 1 week!

I have another bigger problem than the one I posted yesterday. Each day I have to reuse the original backup to start my transaction for it ALWAYS delete my records when I perform the Z Report by end of the day!

This is a pain for I loose all my previous records and obviously non of my inventory is track correctly and not to mention lost all my journal receipts records for I have to use the original backup each day.

The problem occurs every time right after I performed the Z Report and after exited the POS/MANAGER it will not let me get back to POS/MANAGER with error message "Not Found Error 206 : The register is not in the database."

I checked the data using the ADMINISTRATOR > QUERY and obviously non of the data is shown for it already been deleted after performing the Z Report!

RMS TechSupport confirmed that they have no records that this has ever happen before! After I submitted my database for them to recreate the issue and later they suspected it was due to the fact that the Z Report Template was not assigned, but after I assigned it, it only works for once and the very next day after I performed the Z Report again the problem came right back with the exact same error!

Does anybody out there have ever experience this weird problem or I'm the only lone ranger (according to MS)! ,-(

Obviously I can't continue to use this SW if it will not track all my records and crash every time the Z Report is perform and the problem can't be fix by MS! ,-(

You will be the RMS GURU of the Century if you could fix this issue permanently! ,-)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Joshua

I probably would check your hard drive and the RAM.

I had a bad experience with another POS system (l> Hi, I'm new to RMS and have been using it for only 1 week!

Joshua,

Have you added any customizations to RMS, either your own or someone else's?

Also try running a Check and a Reindex in SO Admin | File | Connect | enter your password | Database for the check and reindex.

Make a backup first!!
