We sporadically have problems with RMS POS after entering the tender information the system sometimes just gets ready for the next (sales) transaction without printing a receipt and sometimes it kicks the cashier out of RMS POS also without printing a receipt (this usually happens after swiping a credit card, usually, but not always, AMEX). It doesn't seem to be related to a specific register. When you try to pull up the journal for these transactions or try to do a reprint after the above problems happens, the journal viewer just displays that no image is available, even though the transaction has been processed and is recorded elsewhere (EDC batch, X/Z reports, sales etc). The problem is that since we don't get a receipt the cashiers ring up the same transaction again and customers get double charged in case a CC is used (since the 1st transaction didn't print a CC slip to sign).
We are using RMS SO 2.0.0112.
Has anybody else seen this problem or have a solution for this problem?
