Purchase Orders

In our retail environment we generate large numbers of Customer specific orders as well as stock orders. Currently we use the sequential auto generated PO#'s. I would like to be able to use Customer names as PO# for customers orders so that they are easy to track. I have been advised this has caused systems to crash. Any ideas.-- Tansy

Tansy,

You might want to look at DRS' SO (Special Order) Tracker.

Retail Realm Allocation Manager allows you to allocate PO to Work Order, BackOrder and Layaway.

So, how does this work?

What I'm looking for is a utility or add-on that will force the cashier to go directly from creating and tendering a Work Order (what we call in house a Special Order) to a Purchase Order, so nothing falls through the cracks when a customer special orders a product, the system forces creation of a purchase order.

Is this what your add-> Retail Realm Allocation Manager allows you to allocate PO to Work Order,
