quantity limits

Jan 05, 2006 4 Replies

We just started using RMS and we have a product which has different price break levels. For some reason, the maximum quantity for a particular item that a customer can order is 9,223 even though the inventory for this particular item has 54,000 units available to sell.

Is there a way to fix this? Can anyone tell me why this is?

Thanks.

Boban666,

How are your price breaks set up?

Are you using some kind of add-on for these price breaks?

I just sold myself 54,000. $9.99 items and all was well.

Maybe we don't have it set up right. Technically, we have 9 price breaks for some of our products, but unfortunately we can only use 4. What is the best way to set it up?

It allows us to sell some, but nothing past the quantity of 9,223. Which was weird because there are no figures pertaining to that number anywhere in the database.

Maybe tell me how yours is set up and I'll try similar parameters.

Thanks!

Boban666,

RMS out of the box, only has 7 price breaks Regular, A, B, C, a buydown price, a sale price (these 6 are on the Pricing tab) and a discount price. The only price breaks that are limited by quantity is the Discount and the Buydown price

Are you sure you don't have some kind of add-in to RMS for additional price breaks?

SO Manager | Utilities | Add-ins | anything in here or is it blank?

Jeff,

There's nothing there; the "Add-ins" is greyed out. I've been playing with the setup a bit, and I think I've got it figured out now.

Thanks for your help.
