I have an problem of restoring my database to the sql server(through the rms) it shows to me RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally.
i tried to restore it through the sql server itself its done but without any permission to updating or refreshing the database.

Should be a log of the problem.
\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Log
Open it (them) with Notepad

if i open that log file i cannot get what is there? please provide me how to open it in form of readable way.and if i open it will be any information to aviod the stop?

Look at the bottom of the file and see if there are any errors, probably within the last 20 lines or so.
If there isn't anything obvious, try posting the last 20 or so lines here or in the microsoft.public.sqlserver.msde newsgroup and let's see if we can decipher them.
