RMS 2.0 Mass Item Update Tool

Jul 23, 2010 7 Replies

Does anyone know of a mass update tool for RMS 2.0? What's out there, and is there anything that will allow for updating standard items into a matrix? Managing products one at a time and using scripts for mass updates is a bit ridiculous. Any suggestions and feedback would be very much appreciated.

You can use TILE. For details, please visit:

NitroSell have something called the PAM (Product Attribute manager) that is used to manage RMS attributes and create new fields for storing product info (for example, brand, theme, web price, etc.). It also has an image hunter that allows you to assign pictures to an item using simple drag and drop as well as a web search tool in case you don't have item pics. Huge labor save and the fields created there are added to existing RMS reports.

Nick,

TILE is a free tool and can be used without our RMS compatible shopping cart. Features related to the shopping cart, however, have been disabled in the free version of TILE. Current version does not allow converting a Standard item to Matrix but we can look into it further.

Please contact me if you need further assistence.

Digital Retail Solutions have a matrix tool. I'm not sure if you can use it to convert standard items item matrix items but you can check out the Matrix Master here:

I don't know if you have found a solution or not, but we use a utility called RRIMPORT by Retail Realm.

The license is pretty expensive but it does the job and saves tons of man hours.
