RMS 2.0 Software Update?

Feb 19, 2007 4 Replies

I just recevie a RMS 2.0 Software Update with RMS 2.0 Store Ops CD-ROM, three license keys and a return envelope for the dongle for a store we setup in corporate before the store open. I have email my VAR, but I am wondering if all of these will be coming to the corporate location or the location where the dongle is register out in the field? Has anyone else notice how their update are being mailout or have receive so far?

One of my stores just told me today that their RMS 2.0 update came in the mail. I haven't received my HQ v2.0 yet, so it's going to be a while before they get their dongle back... It appears that the physical site is getting the media.

What's more, I'm not exactly eager to roll our v2.0 for a while. I'll wait for at least two hotfix releases before I go live with v2.0--and by the time

2 hotfixes for HQ v2.0 come out, it'll be Labor Day.

God fobid a store manager pops in the 2.0 CD when they receive it. I'm more than a little confused as to why these CDs are being sent out unsolicited.
