RMS Testing

I guess nobody wants to answer...

My testing is going well, however, I have a few issues:

1. I need to get an 81/2 X 11 z-report, since we use a regular printer at the checkout.
2. I'm also not able to get discount working - ie: I have three price level set and that works great. Now I want to use discount Under Customer, Customer Option - selected Standard price and 10% discount- however discount does not work?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have been lurking on the newsgroup for awhile - would like to do a proof-of-concept setup for my business partner using the RMS demo version and QSCImport. I guess seeing is believing... I would like to implement into production on Jan. 1, 2007.

Basic one lane setup, no barcode or pole display - have CSV of inventory, client, suppliers, etc.. Some knowledge of SQL query writing... Two taxes - PST & GST (Canada)

I have a couple of questions: 1. Demo version 1.2.0151 - is this the latest demo version? Would like to use SQL Server 2005 Express Edition instead of MSDE... 2. Should the proof of concept be successful - could I use the same database and configs. IN other words, I wouldn't want to redo everything. My understanding is that the dongle would update the database reg number... Of course, I would have to delete all transaction from SO Manager and reset my inventory levels. Am I missing something? 3. Before going Live - I would get a certified partner to check my setup... to make sure I didn't miss anything. 4. Any roadmap on RMS 2.0 - which I hear is around the corner.. Should I wait or proceed with 1.3?
