Scanning program problems

We have RMS 1.2 installed along with a homemade program which scans our serialized tickets. This program "talks" with the RMS to validate serial numbers on receipts and tickets to give us attendance totals and to notify the gate personnel whether or not a ticket is valid.

The scanning program no longer works as it is supposed to and our partner has stopped returning our phone calls.

I need help finding a programmer that knows the RMS system and can help us tweak or rewrite our scanning program. I am desperate for help! Thank you in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
