Loyalty Program Request

Are there any providers out there who have come up with a Loyalty Program for a Buy 9 Get the 10th Free scenario (over time)? We also have stores who request a mix/match scenario, again when purchased over time, not on one transaction. We currently have a vendor, however, they are charging a large amount of $$$ every year to renew because it's web-based instead of it being a local add-on and our stores cannot afford this kind of expense. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Wendy

Retail Realms loyalty program doesn't work by buy X get 1. It's a points based program. I know because I use it. As far as I know retail hero is the only one that works on a buy X get 1 format. Craig

You also might want to check into New West Tech's BuyX/GetY add-in.

I have also checked out new wests addin and it does not have the capability to buy 10 get 1 free over time. It does have more capability to set discount schemes by department, catagorie, etc than RMS does. But it won't work for keeping track of purchases over time. I have been looking for this type of an addin for a while because I give a bag of food free for every ten bags purchased. We have been able to come up with a suitable workaround but it's not automated so there's a big chance for human error. So far that I can find Retail Hero is the only company that has a module that does this.I just can't bring myself to cough up the $999 they are asking for it. All the other modules that I've looked at only work for the transaction that is being rung up. Hopefully more companies will come out with one that tracks specific products bought over time to apply towards a free one and help drive the price down a little. Craig
