Anyone know how to set certain attributes in the 'New Inventory Wizard' to different defaults? For example, when entering a new item, no tax is always the default in the drop down menu. How do you change to make 'regular sales tax' appear as the default in the drop down window? Thanks!

The only default you can set is the tax default. Do this by going to the File menu --> Configuration --> Sales Tax tab --> Default item tax group = regular sales tax

How about making a "Default Item" and then "Copy" it instead creating a new one? This won't work for the wizard though.
