signature capture i6670

Finally microsoft has decided to make the signature capture device to work with rms. i will be purchasing the new igenico i6670. Does anyone know if it will work with tne new rms 1.4 out ot the box with BOA merchant or you have to do thing

i believe retail realm told me. do you know where i can purchase a 6770 or

6550

Actually, both the 6550 and 6770 are multi-function devices. The 6770 is a sig cap, pin pad, and swipe device (and optional contactless device), like the 6550. There are two main differences between these devices: the 6770 is color with a larger screen, the 6550 is monochrome. Also, the 6770 has a "virtual pin pad" that appears on the touchscreen when needed, and the 6550 has hard buttons.

From what I have been told, RMS supports the 6550 natively in 2.0. My company, Abanco, supports the 6770 already through the use of our RMS Plug-in. Abanco will be adding support for the 6550 in a few months.
