TT3101 as Signature capture device

I am using a HHP TT3101 as a signature capture device. I have a MSR on the keyboard since this device cannot be used to do both. I am trying to figure out how to get the screen to prompt for the customer to sign it though. I am using OPOS V1.6 drivers and pad68 as the device name. I do not know what to put in the form box and all the help says is that it is required. I don?t know what ?it? is, and I don?t know where to find ?it.? I can capture signatures from it just fine, but the splash screen with Welch-Allyn is displayed over the top of where people should be signing. I would like to be able to just have it say Sign Here with a line or something like that. Does anyone know how to do this?

I uploaded a bitmap to the device that has nothing but a signature line on it. This replaces the Welch/Allyn logo...

This was almost 2 years ago, and I don't remember how to do it, but the HHP tech support guys helped me with it, so try contacting them...

If you don't already have the TT3101 Utilitys goto the Hand Held Website and download it there.

I created 2 logos in Windows BMP format. One logo 320x240 and one

240x128. Be sure to reduce the colors to 2 colors in your image editing program.

I got a copy of Resource Hacker and opened TESTER.EXE with it.

In the 2 bitmap resources I replaced the bitmaps with my own logos then saved the Tester.Exe in Resource Hacker.

Ran Tester.exe and chose LOGO > Set Logo then unpluged TT3101 to reset. After reset the new logo is on screen.

Hope this helps ya.
