At this time, whenever weighed items are scanned, the weight has to be typed in. I am using a computerised scale/ printer Brand- DIGI , MODEL- SM90, Type-

11NB. How do i get weighed items to scan right thru without have to enter in the weight. Can someone help?

You can use the ean13 with the following code...

20 xxxxx yyyyy C

20 -> weight barcode prefix xxxxx -> itemlookupcode yyyyy -> price from scale C -> checkdigit

Create an item in RMS with the itemlookupcode:

20XXXXX000000

(replace XXXXX with your item code)

enable in rms the option "Utilize random weight EAN codes" and print the label with weight/price information on barcode ..
