Where can I find instructions to setup and use eltron barcode prin

Search this group - if you don't find anything, try searching through Google Groups as they have posts going back at least 3 years. I think I posted on this a week or so ago...

Log into Customer Source and check the Knowledge Base, seems like there is an article regarding Eltron/Zebra printer setup.

Forget the Windows driver, set the printer up using the Generic/Text driver. Use the ELTRON.LBL Label file that installs with RMS. You may have to modify it to fit your labels. If you want to modify the label format, download the EPL Programer's Guide from

(EPL = Eltron Printing Language; most of Zebra's printers still use it).

You'll probably find posts (from me) that tell you that you *can* use the windows drivers with Zebra printers. This is true, but since you are obviously having trouble, switch to the Generic/Text as it's easier...

The easiest thing is to use the windows drive. Once you have installed it, go into the properties of the driver and select the label size you will be using. To find out this, you can go to

and select the label in RMS you want and get the size. Put that in the label size field in the driver properties. When you go into RMS and print a label, use the Avery label that you selected and print to the windows driver. This will work for

85% right out of the box. The other labels you may have to do a little edit> with rms
