Where does Z report get its data?

How can query the database so that I can get the data Z report has? I am trying to get these data for a given month.


  1. Returns $ amount
  2. # of transactions
  3. # of 'aborted' and 'no sale' transaction (are those numbers included in #2 above?)
  4. # of customers (Is this the same as #2?)
  5. $ amount and # of credit card transactions
  6. $ amount and # of cash transactions
  7. # of items sold

I look at the XML code for the Z report but it refers to Report.Sales, Report.Cost, etc which I do not know where in the database exist. Thx.

Check out Jean Hollands website, you can download a custom Z Report that will do exactly what you want.
