Windows Server 2003 X64 and SQL Server 2005 Standard (X64)

Does HQ Work with these? What about at the store? Would I need to upgrade then to 64 Bit as well?

I am having a hard time finding anything about this pertaining to RMS.

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, RMS has not been tested with SQL Server 2005 (x32 or x64), so this would be an unsupported installation. That doesn't mean that it won't work, just that no one's going to help you if it suddenly stops...

Thank you for the Reply. I was thinking that, but wasn't sure.

Regarding the need to use the same platform at all locations: No - each store is an independent entity and HQ is it's own entity as well - it's very common to have HQ on a 'full' SQL server version and the stores on MSDE. The only thing that needs to be consistent across all stores is that you need everything to be on the same RMS Build (Service Pack or Hotfix Level).

i am willing to bet RMS 2.0 will support that and that is also why Microsoft is waiting to release it. They want to make sure SQL Server

2005 is complete before pushing full steam ahead on that.
