XML Editor for changing receipts layout?

What is a recommend XML editor for use in changing the receipts layout format. My management is wanting to have more Footer Line than the 5 lines in the present receipt. In looking at the receipt it start off as



I have try both Word 2003 and Notepad, but I can't seem to save the file to the present XML format. Any help would be appericate.

Notepad will do just fine. That is what I have personally used many times. But you might have to make a copy of the receipt file first, right click on the copied file and uncheck Read Only.

If you have M$ FrontPage 2003 that will work as well and there are a bunch of free XML editors out there, try googling 'xml editors'.

To save as .xml when using Word/Notepad:

In the 'Save As:' dialog box, under 'Save As Type' choose 'All Files'. Then put '.xml' at the end of your filename.

For reports, the suffix is '.qrp'.
