z reports

You can edit the report format through notepad. Make a backup copy first. Once you edit it and then save it under another name. Select it for the z template.

I thought you couldn't modify the Z report?

Is there a way to show the breakdown of "Discounts" I'd like to show the different catagories of discounts we give based on the REASON CODE.

We force a reason code for every discount so it would be nice to have this break down on the X/Z/ZZ report

You can modify any report, but you may not be able to get what you want on a particular report. For example, you cannot get what you what on a zout. It doesn't look at discounts in sales, only batches.

Attached find a Reason Code report, copy it into your \Program Files\Microsoft Retail...\Store Operations\Reports folder and look for the report in the Custom section
