There's a native OS X version of software from 2001? I'm guessing it'd need to run in Classic.
It can be an issue using non-native-OS X software if you don't have the Classic environment intsalled.
Luck. Influence. Coincidence. Oversight. Error. Malice. Phase of Moon.
You've lots of choices, including "I don't know."
Allan,
A trend is developing here. You didn't tell the guy about the drop in the depreciation schedule from 39 to 15 years for leasehold improvements. Any competent CPA would have mentioned that.
You don't tell your clients (who pay you?) that there is a possibility that they will be humiliated at the checkout counter if they use a non-MICR check? And you KNEW about it? Hey, maybe they don't care. Maybe they don't write checks at Sams Club. But it IS in the realm of a "Quickbooks Expert" to mention that as a possibility.
What are you going to tell they guy who DOES get a check rejected?
Maybe the the clients who think you are a dufus have gone elsewhere, they aren't going to complain.
I doubt I would want somebody who makes unsupported assumptions doing any work for me.
