I have an sales Item which has the box ticked for "Amts inc VAT". When I create a new Invoice or Sales Receipt, select this item, the box at the bottom of the screen that says "Amts inc VAT" is unticked!
This is with QB2005Pro R9P.
Is this a bona fide bug, or (more likely!) what am I doing wrong?
FWIW, I get the same behaviour with QB2004 Regular.
I was just going to post about the same problem: QB2004. Whether I tick the "amounts include tax" box or not, there's no difference in how the GST is being calculated.
QB 6 used to have a check box called "split GST" which meant I could automatically have the correct figures in both the Gross Amount and Tax Amount. Now I have to get the calculator out to get the correct figures
- a total pain in the bum for long transactions with lots of different classes.
