Multiple Page INvoices

You can insert a subtotal anywhere you wish, but QB will not do it automatically.

Thanks for this, but I've already tried putting a sub-total field in, but it doesn't have anything in it until the last page. Or maybe I'm missing something?

You create an Item type subtotal and use that on your invoice at an appropriate location. It will subtotal everything about it. I typically use it to show subtotal for all materials, labor, etc, but you can place it so it will be shown at the bottom of a printed list of items. not exactly what you are looking for, but QB doesn't do what you want.

Thanks Gary, I'll give it a try. Does it not seem sensible to you to sub-total the items so far on each page of an invoice? Maybe I just want too much ;-)

Seems odd to me. I don't think I've ever seen a multi-page invoice with page sub-totals.
