A plea for help from a new user. I am using QB Pro 2004 and am working to set this up to finally start using it.
I am trying to use the import utility to upload all of my part info both raw material and finished goods which are assemblies built from the raw materials.
I can import 'Inventory item' s fine but cannot import 'Inventory assembly' s. I get the error Type: Unsupported Item Type in the .csv error dump file. I exported the item data I had set up including inventory assembly's to see what it looked like. It was a mess (.iif file) but the tag was 'inventory assembly' so don't know why it won't accept mine.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. It's a lot of data to key in by hand.
